She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl R. Pierson and Rose Strahan Pierson; her brothers, Ronald D. Pierson and Donald W. Pierson; and her granddaughter Breann Y. Rose.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur C. Rogers; her children, Cindy Bennett (Mike) of Arkansas and Michael Barnes (Ginny) of Texas; her stepson Chip Rogers (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Jacob Barnes, Paul Rogers and Ashley Rogers; and her siblings, Carl, Jerry Pierson and Ruth "Kooky" Pierson. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Lanier Baptist Church (4851 Lanier Dr, Baton Rouge, LA 70812).
