He is survived by: his wife Monica Wetherspoon Martin of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his siblings, Vicki Porter of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Patricia Lendo of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Renee Lendo Jones (Bennie Jones, III) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Ralph Chenier of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Edward Chenier of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Michael Chenier (Libby) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Bobby Chenier of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Roy Chenier (Lena) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and his goddaughter Kailey D. Garrett of Fort Worth, Texas. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Second Baptist Church (914 N Acadian Thruway, Baton Rouge, LA 70802). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
