He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Chelsea Marie Frederic; his parents, William Crawford and Mabel Adam Shoaf (Grubb); and his siblings, Joseph Marion Shoaf, Kenneth Henry Shoaf, William Frederick Shoaf (Buddy), Evelyn Mae Shoaf (Wiggins), Mabel Frances Shoaf, Willie Muriel (Jean), Norma Joann Shoaf (Lenz) and Lois Lamond Shoaf (Smith).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Crain); his children, Julia Cheryl Shoaf, Leah Frederic (Kyle), Jerry Shoaf (Nenita) and Tim Shoaf (Lynette); and his siblings, Johnny Sheron Shoaf, Glen Forrest Shoaf, Sarah Elizabeth Shoaf, Melva Lee Shoaf and Sybil Diane Shoaf (Hancock). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
