She was predeceased by : her husband Coy Fike Simmons; her parents, Bob Anderson and Bettie Lee Davis Cox; and her sisters, Marcelle Harris, Hazel Chandler, Helen Edwards, Robbie Cox Grace Cotton and Janice Wiles.

She is survived by : her children, Rodney Simmons (Judy) of Zachary and Jennifer Barnett (Richard) of Baton Rouge; and her stepgrandchildren, Van Vidrine, Angie Miller and Carly Junca. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Frazer's Chapel of the Chimes (305 S Main St, Warren, AR 71671).
