We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2024, at the age of 71, Janet Richardson Arst of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, born in Ruston, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Janet is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Camille Richardson and J. W. Richardson; and her sister Margaret Hardaway. She is survived by: her husband Sanford Alan Arst; her children, Margaret Rose, Meg and Simon Chapman Arst; her grandchild Colt Michael Fisher; and also Margie Lonett.
