He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Albert Dantin Sr. and Doris Beckley Dantin. He is survived by: his friend Roberto Sandoval; his brother-in-law Mike Bray; his wife Cynthia Boudreaux Dantin; his sons, Jacob Dantin (Laura) of Aurora and Justin Dantin of Baton Rouge; his grandchildren, Isabel and Jack Dantin of Aurora, Colorado; and his sisters, Susan Webb (Dennis) of Ooltewah, TN and Betsy Bray (Mike) of Monument. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Aloysius Boy Scout Troop 7 in Bert's memory.
