With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Howard Dudley Efferson (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest "Dudley" Efferson and Blanche McLean Efferson; and his sisters, Shirley Efferson and Frances Berry. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Clayton Efferson; his children, Lisa Gonzalez and Jason Efferson (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jillian Efferson, Allie Efferson, Kaleb Gonzalez and Trinity Gonzalez; his siblings, Donna Dearman and James Efferson; his brother-in-law Don Berry; and his mother-in-law Yvonne Clayton.
