With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald J. Mayeaux of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on December 14, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his child Kerry Mayeaux; his mother Ellis Mayeaux; and his brothers, Alva Mayeaux, Harris Mayeaux and Everett Mayeaux.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Mayeaux; his children, Keith Mayeaux, Karen Mayeaux Hill and Kenneth Mayeaux (Kristen); his grandchildren, Brandon Schexnayder (Rachel), Emory Mayeaux, Britton Mayeaux and Danielle Mayeaux; and his great grandchildren, Marcellus Levi, Leonidas Joseph, Brandon and Rachel. He is also survived by husband to his wife of 66 years and an incredible father to his 4 children.
