He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn O'Quin Rimes; his daughter Deborah Colleen Lanier; his parents, Arie James Rimes and Ruth Ellzey Rimes; and his siblings, Pauline Estess, Nadine Butler, Shirley Easley, Robert Rimes and Claude Rimes.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Rimes Teal; his grandchildren, Taylor, Tayton Teal (Chelsie), Jonah and Jordan Lanier; his great grandchild Jane Lanier; and his sister Nelda Burch. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726).
