He is survived by: his wife Karen A. Griffin; his sons, Christopher Avery (Natalie), Ejerald Avery and Brandon Avery (Simone); his siblings, Larry Griffin (Delores) of Baton Rouge, John Griffin (Ruby) of Baton Rouge, David Griffin of New Orleans, Martha Penn Daisy Griffin (Alvin) of Baton Rouge and Veronica Gray of Prairieville; and his siblings-in-law, Mamie Gooden (Henry) of Baker, Larry Avery of Baton Rouge and Patrick Avery of Baton Rouge. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
