She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arthur Thompson and Martha Ella Willie Thompson; her husband John Edward "Eddie" Crutchfield, Sr.; and her siblings, James H. Thompson, Delos A. Thompson, Sr., Donice E. Thompson, Sr. and Elma Ruth Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Evans (John), Dianne Easterly, Janet Palmer and John Crutchfield, Jr. (Yvette). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
