He was predeceased by: his son Dwain Carey Dupuis Jr.; his parents, Stanley Dupuis and Lula Mae Dupuis; and his siblings, Sherralin Henry and Steven Dupuis.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah Dupuis; his children, Shane Dupuis and Kane Richardson; and his sister Donna Porta (Warren). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
