He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reverend Frank and Rosa Herbert; his wife Desorea R. Herbert; his daughters, Beverly Stepter of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Belinda Hamilton (Wayne, Sr.) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; his siblings, Thomas Herbert (Dorothy) of Baker, Louisiana, Hilda Blacher of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Rose Kenney (Nathan Sr.) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and his grandchildren, Wayne Hamilton, Jr. (India) of Baton Rouge, Keyanna Hamilton Carter (Gerard Sr.) of Baton Rouge, Perry Stepter II of Baton Rouge, Dedtrick Stepter of Baton Rouge, Jarredd Stepter of Baton Rouge and Roy Wilkerson (Shonda) of Tallulah, Louisiana. He was also cherished by daughters, six (6) grandchildren and nine (9) great-grandchildren.
