With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David M. Ellison Jr. (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Martha Ann Ellison Cunningham and Jane Ellison Quinn; and his wife Kathryn Gwin Ellison. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Matt Kingman (Katie Kingman), Alex Kingman, Katie Ellison Leake (Andy Leake), Elizabeth Ellison Erbes (Casey Erbes), Calley Ellison Floyd (David Floyd), Ian Ellison, Sean Ellison, Kathryn Ellison Smith Whiteside (Jack Whiteside), Sam Smith, Ara Ellison, Emily Ellison, Ross Ellison, Erin Ellison, David Hall Ellison, Jack Ellison, Clayton Ellison (Charity Ellison) and Alise Ellison; and his great grandchildren, Hadley, Emery, Griff, Logan, Hannah, Charlotte, Ben and Cece.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (763 North Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70802). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
