He was predeceased by: his parents, Murel "Bubbie" McConnell and Frank McConnell; and his brother Perry McConnell. He is survived by: his wife Gail Lamousin; his brother Gary; his sister-in-law Frances McConnell; his sister Frances; his siblings-in-law, Barry Dodson, Sharon L. Gatlin and Lynn Lamousin Stowe (David); his nieces, Kelley Dodson, Courtney Gatlin, Whitney Gatlin, Erin Hoffman (Keith) and Amy Carter (Brian); his great-nieces, Anna Kate Carter and Cecilia Hoffman; and his great-nephew Jack Carter.
