With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christie Gaye Watts of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on February 18, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Brittany Zeigler; her parents, Ava Lee and Stanley Watts Sr.; her daughter-in-law Angelia Zeigler; her grandson Slade Hutchinson; and her nephew William Gremillion.
She is survived by: her husband Murphy Bovia; her sons, Blake Zeigler and Brody Zeigler (Kristen); her stepchildren, Sharon Quasdroff (Robert), Jennifer Mumphrey (Jamie) and Christopher Bovia (Dawn); her siblings, Kathy Wagner (Troy), Donna Chenevert, Kim Gremillion (Robert) and Stanley Watts Jr.; and her grandchildren, Brooke Zeigler, Britt Zeigler, Braleigh Zeigler, Kayten Zeigler, Lydia Fonte, Gabriel Mumphrey, Caleb Mumphrey, Logan Mumphrey, Lucas Bovia, Noah Bovia, Sadie Quasdroff, Jace Quasdroff and Katie Bovia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brandon G Thompson Funeral Home (12012 US-190, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
