We bid farewell to Carroll Gibson in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, born in New Iberia, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2025 at the age of 87. Carroll touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his son William "Bill" Joseph Gibson; his parents, Mary Agnes Deshotels Gibson and Aswell Antoine Gibson; and his sister Mary Margaret Gibson Jeanmard. He is survived by: his wife Sophie Ann Cassidy; and his children, Julia Ann Gibson Harwell (late Mark), Carl Cassidy Gibson (Theresa), Ghislaine Marie Gibson Christiansen (Tim) and John Aswell Gibson (Barbara). He is also survived by his children, 11 grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (11441 Goodwood Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815). A rosary will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
