It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn M Adams of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, born in Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Mayeux and Henry Mayeux; and her son Jimmy Songy. She is survived by: her former husband Gerald E. Songy; her family Alexandria; her husband George C Adams; and her children, Chip Songy (Stephanie), Fran Songy Randall of Chattanooga, TN, Julie Songy Durkee of Atlanta, GA, Michael Songy (Jean Anne), David Songy (Lisa) and Charles Adams (Danielle) of Lake Oconee, GA. She is also survived by children and had one son.
