It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn M Adams of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, born in Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Della Mayeux and Henry Mayeux; and her son Jimmy Songy. She is survived by : her former life partner Gerald E. Songy; her family Alexandria; her husband George C Adams; and her children, Chip Songy (Stephanie), Fran Songy Randall of Chattanooga, TN, Julie Songy Durkee of Atlanta, GA, Michael Songy (Jean Anne), David Songy (Lisa) and Charles Adams (Danielle) of Lake Oconee, GA. She is also survived by children and had one son.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Church. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
