It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Crane of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, born in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Burns Crane. He is survived by: his children, Leslie and Shawn Crane; his daughter-in-law Sandee Watt Crane; and his grandchildren, Jackson, Dylan and Shelby Crane.
In addition, he was recognized by the Louisiana Association of Computer Using Educators for his contribution to classroom technology; and received both the "Golden Apple" Award from the Delta Kappa Gamma Teacher Organization and Economic Development Award for promotion of economic development through his contribution in the field of education.
