She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Ford and Gustavia Ford; and her siblings, Carl Jr., Willie Douglas (W. D.), Leo Clifton, Percy Romero, Charles Edward and Leecy Marie.
She is survived by: her daughter Joyce F.; her son-in-law Donald Trusclair; her granddaughter Joy G. Trusclair; and her sisters, Beverly F. Scott of Oakland, CA, Gwendolyn F. Battles of Vallejo, CA and Melba Ford of San Francisco, CA.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New St. John Baptist Church (1455 South Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70802). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New St John Baptist Church (1455 South Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70802).
