She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence John Acosta Sr.; and her parents, Roy Gullette Thiel and Eugenie Gaudin Thiel. She is survived by: her children, Lawrence John Acosta Jr. and Elizabeth Acosta Rabel; and her sisters, Alice Jean Brannon (Donald), Patricia Ann Persick (William) and Royce Perkins (Chuck). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
Barbara Ann Thiel Acosta, age 81, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana was called home to meet Jesus on September 4th 2024 in her home after a brief battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
