She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Compton and Everett Compton; and her brother Everett "Butter" Compton. She is survived by: her husband J. Bruce Evans; her children, Melisa Gallison, Tela Lewis (Jeff), Sandra Hebert, Connie Jordan (Alan), Marilois Snowman (Doug), Ellen Womack (Milton) and Mark Evans (Robbie); and her siblings, Martha Boatman, Patsy Hunter, Mary Alice Terry (Gary) and Ronnie Compton (Doris).
