He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Michael Mix, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Mix; his mother Lois Mix; his sister Tommie Jo Hunt (Tommy); his children, Lauren Salvail (Scott) and Michael Mix; and his grandchildren, Lucas and Whitt Salvail. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Aloysuis Catholic Church (2025 Stuart Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70808). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Louisiana Kidney Foundation or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
