She was predeceased by: her parents, Ephraim Dement and Garnet Shelby Dement. She is survived by: her siblings, Leon Dement (Janice), Nelwyn Courtney (Alvin) and Dugan Newman (Sam); her children, Alpha Lydia Cook, Wiley Benard Raborn, Jr. and Michael Austin Raborn (Cathy); her grandchildren, Youndy Cook, Johnnie Cook, Michelle Raborn, Christopher Raborn (Rosie), Adam Raborn (Christina), Matthew Raborn and Molly Heyne (Christopher); her great grandchildren, Mia Mutz Simonsen (Alex), Tyler Cook, Austin Cook, Gaby Akkar, Zoe Raborn, Grayson Heyne, Emerson Heyne, Landon Heyne, Colton Heyne and Hudson Heyne; her great great grandchildren, Layla Mae Simonsen and Josephine Nicole SImonsen; and her brother Herbert H "Spud" DeMent (Julie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
