He was predeceased by: his parents, Theron Scott and Estelle Scott; and his sister Pat Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Berna Scott; his children, Becky Goodman (Vance), Chris Scott (Leslie) and Lane Scott; his stepchildren, Jarrod Golson and Kristin Golson Hattaway (Shane); his brother Ronnie Scott; and his grandchildren, Derrick Vail, Mariah Stephenson, Brady Scott, Shanna Scott, Amanda LaFleur, Mason Scott, Peyton Hattaway and Macy Hattaway. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home (2016 E Madison Ave, Bastrop, LA 71220).
