She was predeceased by: her husband Onzie Lee Leopold; her children, Terry Shelton and Barbara Ahmed; her parents, Soloman Springs-Shelton and Laura Springs-Shelton; and her siblings, Francis Grant, Katherine Rabb, Pearlie Mae Boles, Connie, Slyvester, Clarence, Otis, Prentice, Ozell Merritt and Willie Grant.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Shelton and Sandra Thomas. She is also survived by two grandchildren; forty-nine great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
