Linda McLaughlin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2024, Linda McLaughlin of Bastrop, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Linda farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Linda is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel McLaughlin; her daughter Tina Petty; her brothers, Charlie Brown of Bastrop, LA and Dewey Eugene "Sonny" Brown of Bastrop, LA; her grandson Matt Cook (Amanda) of Caesar Park, TX; her great grandchildren, Elijah Cook, Cassius Cook and Sebastian Cook; and her stepchildren, Molly, Nathan and Chasity. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home (2016 E Madison Ave, Bastrop, LA 71220).
