It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John White Jr. of Bastrop, Louisiana, born in Delhi, Louisiana, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Tammy White; his parents, John White and Versie White; and his siblings, Betty Jo Whitstine, Shirley White, Cecelia Moore, Pearl Nolan, Bobbie Jean Ratliff, Clyde White, Clayton White, Sr. and Herman Lavelle.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann White of Bastrop, LA; his children, Angelia Hutson (Ricky) of Bastrop, LA and Alishia "Lisa" McGraw (Brian) of Swartz, LA; his grandsons, Brandon Scott Massingale and Curtis Allen McGraw; and his siblings, Yvonne Moore, Becky Plunkett (Dobbin), Linda Stockton (Vernon) and Randy White. He is also survived by great grandchildren; 1-great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown-Holley Funeral Home (10324 LA-17, Oak Grove, LA 71263). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church (809 Cleveland St, Bastrop, LA 71220).
