She was predeceased by: her husband Elzey Pettis; her parents, James "Jim" Sylvester Crenshaw and Alice Turner Crenshaw; and her sisters, Bernice Jewel Crenshaw, Bert L. Blackwell, Dora Mae Wooden and Arlene Huff.
She is survived by: her children, Howard "Buster" Pettis and Linda Pettis Mincks (Terry); her grandsons, Seth Mincks (Jill) and John Mincks (Ashley); and her brother Nonnie Crenshaw (Lou). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home (2016 E Madison Ave, Bastrop, LA 71220).
