He is survived by: his wife Gloria Burgess Bennett; his children, Cgay Bankston (Alan), Terri Grimes (Ted) and David Wimbish; his sister Theresa Barthol (Billy); his sisters-in-law, Carolyn White and Linda Burgess; his brother Mike Bennett; and his grandchildren, Tara Laseter, Rusty Wimbish (Tracy), Charlie Laseter, Jr. (Tamatha), Zack Wimbish (Shey), Cesli Grimes, Drew White, Whitney Wimbish and Carli Haynes (Vesper). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
