He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Freeman and Bessie Freeman; and his former wife Phillis R. Freeman. He is survived by: his wife Frances Walthall Freeman; his daughter Stephenie L. Harris; his stepdaughters, Tina Nobles (Brian) and Lynda Parrott (Chris); his siblings, Alan Freeman (Beth) and Beverly Nealy (Rob); his grandchildren, Shanna Scott, Catelyn Hicks (Dennis), Caleb Parrott (Shelbye), Ethan Nobles, Riley Nobles, Corbin Harris (Amanda), Conley Harris (Nikki) and Baylee Jinks (Landon); and his great grandchildren, Parker Young, Emerson Parrott, Avalyn Hicks, Prairie-Anne Parrott, Bryce Nobles, Asher Nobles, Reid Harris, Stella Harris, Olivia Harris, Paisley Harris and Wyatt Harris.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Wounded Warrior Foundation or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
