He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Gorman; his parents, Simon Franklin and Wallie Aury Gorman; his brothers, William Mitchell Gorman and Cecil Gorman; his sons, Billy Joe Gorman, James Gorman, Brian Armstrong and George Allen Gorman; his grandchild Annah Joice Cook; and his uncle Marshal Land.
He is survived by: his children, Priscilla McDougald (Richard "Hog" Childers), Lisa Kellum (Jimmy), Tommy Jackson Armstrong (Angeline), Christopher Gorman, Shannon Armstrong, Tara Gorman, Fordie Cook and Frank Mitchell Gorman (Sabrina); his siblings-in-law, Gayle Gorman and Doug Day; and his close friends, Tony Johnson and Joe McCarver. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home (2016 E Madison Ave, Bastrop, LA 71220).
