He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Lee and Amber Lee; his former wife Esther Shockey Sistrunk; and his siblings, Calvin Sistrunk, Jimmy Sistrunk, Thomas Sistrunk and Carolyn Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Sistrunk; his children, Letha Heckford (Drew) and Donald Dewayne Sistrunk (Kristie); his siblings, Sandra Harper, Sharon Torres (Mike) and Rev. David Sistrunk (Beverly); his grandsons, Brandon Sistrunk (Ashley), Andrew Sistrunk (Laura) and Mason Heckford; and his great grandchildren, Riley Sistrunk, Landon Sistrunk, Macie Sistrunk, Nora Sistrunk, Kayden Gilbert, Kamren Sistrunk, Kolby Sistrunk and Kingston Sistrunk.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Funeral Home (2016 E Madison Ave, Bastrop, LA 71220). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bonne Idee Assembly (11548 Johnson School Rd, Mer Rouge, LA 71261).
