It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Bearden Boyd of Bastrop, Louisiana, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Vosburg Bearden and Lucien Bearden; and her brothers, Don Bearden and Bobby Bearden. She is survived by: her husband James "Bubba" Boyd; her daughter Nicole Gulledge; her pet Bailey; and her sisters, Charlotte Jackson, Peggy Butler and Marsha Bearden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Homes - Bastrop Chapel (611 N Washington St, Bastrop, LA 71220). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
