He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Lou Carpenter Spencer and Chester "Choppy" Spencer; his wife Glenda Spencer; his grandson Lucas Spencer; and his brother Chester "Choppy" Spencer, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Spencer, Shelly Spencer, Steven Spencer (Theresa) and Shawn Spencer Petta; his grandchildren, Ben Petta, Chance Robertson, Zachary Spencer, Emma Petta Calogero and Whitney Robertson; his sister Wanda Spencer Berry; and his girlfriend Dianna Nelson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Homes - Bastrop Chapel (611 N Washington St, Bastrop, LA 71220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
