He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lee and Lady Lois Lee; his siblings, Simmie Earl Lee and Sarah Sharbono; his parents-in-law, Chalmus Cupit and Gurtha Cupit; and his siblings-in-law, Charles M. Taylor, John Searcy, Mary Doyle and Joy Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Cupit Lee; his son Sammy Ray Lee, Jr (Jenifer); his grandchildren, Olivia Lee Garcia (Trey), Christian Lee and Caroline Lee; his great grandchildren, Chloe Garcia and Harper Garcia; his siblings, Paul "Boo" Lee (Monna) and Penney Earl (Eddie); his siblings-in-law, Sam Sharbono, Leon Taylor and Jean Taylor; and also Sassy Cat. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
