She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Peavy and Mary Bell Peavy; her siblings, Gerald Peavy and Lois Townsend; her close friend Sandy Jackson; and her sister-in-law Sherry Peavy.

She is survived by: her husband Ricky McKenzie of Baskin, LA; her daughter Mendy Simons Wiltshire (Charlie); her grandsons, Trip Wiltshire III of Baskin, LA and Ollie "Chase" Wiltshire of Baskin, LA; her stepdaughter Courtney McKenzie; her granddaughters, Hadley McKenzie of Crowville, LA and Hayden McKenzie of Crowville, LA; her siblings, Archie Peavy of Plaquemine, LA, Linda Peavy of Baskin, LA and Janice Higgins of Baskin, LA; and her niece Dana Talbert of Baskin. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
