He is survived by: the mother of his children Gloria Nell Wright of Winnsboro; his children, Johnny Day (Melanie) of Baskin and Sandra Punchard (Earl) of Baskin; his grandchildren, Amanda Punchard, Wade Punchard (Carley), Jessica Box (Cameron Holley) and Hailey Day; and his pet Blue. He is also survived by great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
