He was predeceased by: his mother Audrey Pearl Woods; his siblings, Thelma Woods Zeagler, James H Buddy Woods and Bobby L. Woods; and his stepsister Margie Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Oneida Ford; his children, Bretton Woods and Amy Alvarado (Rob); his granddaughters, Shannon, Amelia and Carolina; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Woods and Omega Grant. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (4820 LA-132, Baskin, LA 71219). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
