He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Phillips and Ethel Phillips; his siblings, Corvin, Otis, Travis, Leon, Billy Joe and Audrey; his son-in-law Randy Woods; his great grandchild Daylon Phillips; and his friend Tom Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene; his children, Sandra Woods (family: Gina Punchard) and Cordell, Jr. (Brenda); and his sisters, Lucille and Sharon. He is also survived by grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; many friends and wonderful neighbors.
