He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Belton, Sr. and Hazel Ceaser Belton. He is survived by: his children, Yolanda Belton, Matrell Vigers and Philip Belton, Jr.; his close friend Jane Belton; his siblings, Oscar Belton, James Belton and Laura Belton; and his grandchildren, Blake Belton, Hayley Dolan, Mariah Belton, Matrell Vigers, II, MasonVigers and Mia Belton. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
