He is survived by: his mother Ola Fontenot Sonnier; his children, Marvin Sonnier (Angela), Melissa Belton (Julius) and Stephanie Sonnier; and his sisters, Geraldine Mouton, Lieche Derousselle, Catherine Sonnier and Tracy Richardson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
