She was predeceased by: her child Rocquell S. Boyd; her parents, Alfred Palmer and Estella Smith Palmer; and her brother Alfred Palmer. She is survived by: her children, Dana Sumner, Walter J. Sumner, Jr. and Jeanette Sumner; her grandsons, Cody Crystal and Bryan Sumner; and her siblings, John Wayne Palmer, Brenda Johnson, Craig Palmer, Emmanuel Palmer and Gwendolyn Dixon. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, sisters in law, brothers in law other relatives, and friends.
