She was predeceased by: her parents, Alcide Philip Landry and Theoda Halmon; her son Ronald Gene Smith (Ronnie); her grandparents, Adolf D Halmon and Josephine Halmon of St Landry; and her husband John W. "Billy" Smith of Bunkie.

She is survived by: her son Tommy Ray Smith (Mary Lee Smith) of Argyle Texas; her daughter-in-law Rebecca Burnaman Smith of Alexandria; her grandchildren, Allison R. Smith Pospisil (Jerry Pospisil) of Deville, Amanda K. Smith Travis (Gilbert Travis) of Flower Mound and Brandon M. Smith (Sara Rhyne Smith) of Brevard, NC.; and her great grandchildren, Jack Travis, Scarlet Travis and Charlie Smith.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Dry Creek Baptist Camp, P. O. Box 441, Dry Creek, LA 70637 or to Parkview Baptist Church, 2101 MacArthur Dr., Alexandria, LA 71301.
