She was predeceased by: her parents, Len Jones and Lena Keller Jones of Jena; her husband J. "Jimmy" Haynes; her daughter Linda Kreger; her grandchildren, Kathy Kreger and John Michael Haynes; and her daughter-in-law Dixie Haynes.

She is survived by: her sons, Joe Haynes and Mike Haynes (Sue); her grandchildren, Chris Haynes (Lori), Michelle Hill (Jeff) and Misty Borders (Brett); her great grandchildren, Heather Basco, Amanda Ransom (Jeremy), Kerri Basco, Kyle Mayo, Ashley Hill, Jake Hill, Tyler Haynes (Melodie), Amelia Hill, Robert and Ava Borders; her great great grandchildren, Harlee, Colt Haynes and Adley Ransom; her nephews, Jerry Jones (Kathy), Larry Haynes (Marty) and Steve Haynes; her niece Susie Gassiott; her granddaughter Kelley; and her daughters, Heather and Kerri.

In lieu of flowers, Thelma requested memorials be made to St. Jude' s Children Hospital, Hosanna Baptist Church or Gideon's International.
