It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronnie Lacey McCartney (Ball, Louisiana), born in Pineville, Louisiana, who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lessie Mobley McCartney and Joseph McCartney; and his brother Jack McCartney. He is survived by: his friend Janet Buckley; his sons, Ryan McCartney and Travis McCartney of Pineville, LA; his grandchildren, Alex McCartney and Emma McCartney; his siblings, J. L. McCartney (Frankie) of Pollock, LA, Johnny McCartney of Pollock, LA, Ruby Fletcher (Royce) of Pollock, Robbin Smith (Doc) of Ball, LA, Trudie Boren (Eddie Wayne) of Pollock, LA and Myra McCartney of Pollock; and also, Pam Hollier, Mike Kirtland and Lloyd Kirtland.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Foster Community of Central Louisiana, a local nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children in the foster care system.
