He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Elkins and Lonie Elkins; and his brother Ricky Elkins of Pollock, Louisiana.. He is survived by: his wife Linda Roberts Elkins; his sons, Ryan Elkins of Ball and Dr. Reagan Elkins (Leslie Elkins) of Zachary, Louisiana.; and his grandchildren, William Caden Elkins and Joy Vianne Elkins.
His death was due to pneumonia related to the Covid-19 virus.
