He was predeceased by: his father Owen "Bo" Fredieu, Jr.; his stepfather Bobby Thompson, Sr.; and his caregiver Kayla. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Gray; his stepfather Bobby Reeves; his siblings, Belinda Fowler (James "Scooter"), Keith Fredieu (Brenda), J. P. Thompson (Ashley), Bobby Thompson, Jr. and Terence "Moose" Thompson; his sons, Tevin Fredieu (Shian) and Dillon Fredieu; and his granddaughters, Macy Rayne and Mya Serenity.
