She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Adams and Louise Adams. She is survived by: her husband Jack Sumler; her daughters, Terri Philpot (Leon) of Pineville and Michelle Robertson (Kenny) of Columbia, SC; her grandchildren, Tara Gilcrease (Jacob), Benjamin Philpot of Pineville, Nicholas Philpot (Martha) of Columbia Missouri, Matthew Robertson (Amanda) of Ruston and Aaron Robertson (Leah) of North Carolina; her great grandchildren, Alyse Philpot, Max Philpot, Cooper Gilcrease, Kyleigh Philpot and Lydia Robertson; and her siblings, Kaye Hooks (Forrest) and John Adams (Judy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to Covid 19 pandemic, a memorial service for Mrs. Sumler will be held at a later date.
