She is survived by: her sons, Kevin A. Brashear (Verna) of Dry Prong and Mark F. Brashear (Diane) of Pollock, Louisiana; her siblings, Newman Wainwright Jr. (Vonice) of Ball, Louisiana and Anice M. "Mayrene" Roszell of Deville, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Kasha Simmons, Kevin Brashear Jr., Mark Brashear Jr., Ashley Howell, Janet Parrott and Jeremy Brashear; and her close friend Steven Bush.
